Use Cases
Overview
BOLD is the US-dollar stablecoin of Liquity V2. Like LUSD it is minted against crypto collateral, but V2 broadens the accepted collateral and lets borrowers set their own interest rates.
How It Works
Borrowers deposit ETH or approved liquid-staking tokens and mint BOLD, choosing an interest rate that influences their redemption risk. The protocol directs revenue to BOLD holders through Liquity V2 mechanisms.
Reserve Backing
BOLD is backed by ETH, wstETH, and rETH collateral held on-chain, not by fiat reserves.
Supported Networks
BOLD is issued on Ethereum, with cross-chain availability on Arbitrum, Base, and Optimism.
